Broadmeadows Completes Plaza, Secures Federal Funding for Next Phase

Hume City Council has secured more than $3.3 million in federal funding for the Broadmeadows Revitalisation Project and has opened the upgraded Broadmeadows Civic Plaza. These steps set the stage for decisions on how the money will support jobs, housing and education access in the suburb.

Revitalisation Project Funding

The federal allocation targets three main areas: employment opportunities, new housing supply and better education facilities. Council has confirmed the facility meets safety standards. Future decisions centre on routine maintenance schedules and any follow-up measures identified during the review.
