Coburg Schools Launch $X Million Upgrades Following 2024 Education Plan

Coburg High School secured $17.8 million for a two-storey technology hub that will add capacity for 250 students after Devco Project & Construction Management received the head contractor role in February 2026.

The Merri-bek North Education Plan launched in October 2024 brought Coburg High School together with Glenroy Secondary College, John Fawkner Secondary College and Pascoe Vale Girls Secondary College. That plan set goals for teaching excellence, student wellbeing and subject diversity across the next decade. Prep enrolments for 2026 remain open at Coburg Primary School with a deadline of 25 July 2026 and at Coburg West Primary School with a deadline of 31 July 2026. Families can use these dates to complete applications while the planning work funded in the 2025/26 budget moves forward.
