Fourteen Berwick Academy Seniors Commit to Collegiate Athletic Programs

Fourteen student-athletes from Berwick Academy committed to collegiate sports in May 2026. The group represents 20 percent of the graduating class at the private school in South Berwick, Maine.

School Sports Context

Berwick Academy student-athletes compete in programs that prepare them for the next level. Recent results at Berwick High School show similar success on the field. The football team reached 7-0 after a 42-16 win over Nanticoke Area. The girls volleyball team advanced to its first state semifinal in program history by sweeping Garden Spot 3-0 before a 3-1 loss to Pope John Paul II.

Standout Performances

Senior running back Ty-Mere Wilkerson set two school records with 383 rushing yards and multiple touchdowns in a 49-9 playoff victory over Hanover Area. That performance helped Berwick finish 11-0. Wilkes-Barre Area football remains the only Wyoming Valley Conference team still active in the fall state playoffs after Berwick and Wyoming Seminary were eliminated in the semifinals.
