Cranbourne Secondary Colleges Compete in Casey South Athletics Division Events
Students from local schools take part in track and field alongside other sports in the Casey South Division.

Cranbourne East Secondary College and Cranbourne West Secondary College compete in the Casey South Division of School Sport Victoria, where they field teams in interschool athletics together with AFL, netball and soccer.
These programs give students regular access to organised track and field competition at venues inside the suburb. Participation keeps the focus on local meets rather than distant fixtures and lets coaches work directly with athletes on sprints, jumps and throws.
Venues and training sites
Casey Cardinia Athletics operates from the Casey Fields Athletics Centre on Berwick-Cranbourne Road in Cranbourne East. The centre runs sessions for athletes aged 12 and over, supplying the track surface used by the secondary colleges during division carnivals. Cranbourne Secondary College schedules its whole-school athletics carnival at the same Casey Fields track, where students run, jump and throw as one of three annual events.
Primary and college programs
Cranbourne Primary School prepares Year 3 to 6 students for its own Athletics Carnival at the Casey Fields Athletics Track, selecting participants for track and field events after training sessions. Lighthouse Christian College in Cranbourne lists athletics in its sports program next to basketball, netball and swimming, giving another group of students the same local track access. Schools continue to use these established facilities for weekly training blocks and scheduled carnivals.
