The acquisition of the 65-acre Diamond Nation baseball and softball complex by Unrivaled Sports is providing fresh capacity for community leagues in Flemington. This move adds to a cluster of purpose-built venues that support organised team and individual sports across the city.

Diamond Nation supplies multiple fields suited to both baseball and softball leagues. The scale of the site allows simultaneous scheduling for different age groups and skill levels, reducing conflicts that previously limited weekly match slots for local clubs.

Flemington Pickleball Club

The new Flemington Pickleball Club at 19 Royal Road will open in September with five climate-controlled indoor courts. The dedicated indoor layout removes weather-related cancellations and creates consistent evening and weekend slots for community pickleball leagues that have grown rapidly in recent years.

Djerring Flemington Hub and Debneys Park

Djerring Flemington Hub and Debneys Park now operate as a single multi-sport precinct featuring soccer pitches, a synthetic cricket pitch and LED lighting. These surfaces support extended training hours for community soccer and cricket leagues while the lighting extends usable time into the evening for working residents.

Rider Development Centre

Racing Victoria’s Rider Development Centre sits adjacent to Flemington Racecourse and includes a mechanical horse room, gymnasium and physiotherapy rooms. The facility supplies structured support for equestrian athletes and contributes to community-level programs that feed into broader racing and recreational riding networks.
