Bundoora Homestead Mansion Opens Free Wednesday Tours, Wildlife Walks

Bundoora Homestead Art Centre runs a free guided history tour at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. The session covers the 1899 Queen Anne mansion's uses as a family home, repatriation hospital and art gallery.

History Tours Draw Steady Interest

The Wednesday tours operate from the centre on Plenty Road and last about 45 minutes. Visitors learn about the building's conversion from private residence to medical facility after World War I and its later role as a public gallery.
